  • A vehicle can be confiscated following an arrest.They do say it was "seized" which indicates there was alot more to the arrest than reported here. The story focuses on the chair and the family funding his defense by selling photos on Ebay. Perhaps the chair qualifies as a motor vehicle.....

  • It appears the fear-mongering is heading toward a peak. It's working on the Yes-voters and those getting angry about it. I don't have confidence in the h1n1 infection numbers because (from CDC.gov)

  • If the worker doesn't like the status quo, he/she is free to get an education and some ambition, and become his/her own boss. It will take a long time and alot of effort but that's what freedom grants them.

  • Adding to what PINCH said. On the back of that statement, it probably took the company a year to collect enough documentation to support the termination. When an employee's performance is sub-standard the case takes a while to document.

  • I said it twice already but I'll try one more time for the sake of clarity: I clearly state it is not a person, but the dogma of a religion which demands/requires belief without evidence, i.e. "faith". Is that clear enough?
